Hazards: | HAZARDS include a two story brick building (boiler house) located ENE of the helipad, wires with orange marking balls to the SE, a radio tower 1.5nm E, and the hospital itself which is connected to the pad on W side. Winds in excess of 20kts from the NW can cause severe turbulence. West bound departures from the roof top pad with winds out of the west may encounter tailwinds while transitioning to forward flight due to the wind rolling and reversing direction off of the hospital. | ||||||||||||||||||
